Versailles Midway Woodford County Planning and Zoning Commission Approves Regulation Revisions

At the regular meeting of Versailles Midway Woodford County Planning and Zoning Commission, the commission approved the proposed regulation revisions where a real estate developer would have to post a certificate of deposit or letter of credit from a Woodford County Bank to cover the costs for final development items such as asphalt paving topcoat, sidewalks, landscaping trees, and clean up - before the commission approve a final plat for the development.

Additionally, language was put into the regulations in regard to performance guarantees for real estate developments, and to install a sign at the end of any streets not completely constructed that the street is not a dead end, and that it will be completed if there is any future development.

These new regulations go into effect immediately.

New commissioners were also welcomed to the commission:

Chad Wells (whom replaces Chris Rodgers)

Ed McCees  (whom replaces Gay Glenn)

Tim Parrott (not sworn in yet, but will be - replaces Mark McDonald)
