Midway College opens Lexington Kentucky Location

Dr. William Drake, President of Midway College in Midway Kentucky, announced a new branch location of the school was going to be opening this month in Lexington Kentucky.

Midway College is approximately 160 years old since its founding.  The new location will be at Sir Baton Way in the southeast side of the Lexington Kentucky metropolitan area.  This location was selected to help serve the students that lived in Lexington, but it wasn't convenient for the students to attend classes in their main Midway Kentucky location.

Programs offered will include the School for Career Development (SCD).  Most degrees can be completed between 18 and 24 months, and the degrees offered will include:

Organizational Administration & Leadership

B.S. in Nursing

Health Care Administration

Homeland Security Corporate Assessment

Human Resource Management

Sport Management

This expansion is an attempt to help ease the tremendous growth and enrollment increases for the Midway College primary location.

The Lexington Center location will be able to accommodate 300 students.
